Roobow has every right to participate in both regional and federal level politics. He's not different from former Islamist who turned politicians starting from Shekh Sharif who became president of the republic even though he was head of the Islamic Courts Union.
We have Ahmed Madobe, former Al Habaab member, in Kismayo. Indha Cadde, a former warlord who fought along with the Islamic Courts was promoted to a General by Shekh Sharif.
