Interesting discussion. I enjoyed both panelists but our Hausa brother and our third generation Isaaq Kenyan sister are heavily brainwashed by the secessionists.

Both Kenya and Nigeria have same internal strives as Somali Republic. If we explore the issues between the north (Boko Haram, Fula-Hausa) and south Nigeria (Yoruba-Igbo) or Niger Delta it's no different than Somali Republic.

Should we say Southern Nigeria is Nigerialand because the north is different country all together because of the Boko Haram suicide attacks, because of the Fulani cattle raids or Hausa wealth gap (Hausa have the poorest per capita per ethnic and the richest individuals including Dangote)?

That doesn't make logical sense and Somali Republic is the same.

There is only one country. The north is relatively more stable including Puntland region because foreign powers are not interested in the barren north. It's left alone and forgotten.

No one spoils nor no one wants to recognise it. Recognition = interests.

No doubt the Hausa man is only protecting his business after all people can go to prison for liking the flag of Somali Republic on social media. It's North Korea without a recognition.

Sheegato

Unlike your pathetic examples above, Somaliland gained its sovereignty on June 26, 1960. We will regain our internationally recognized sovereignty one way or the other.

Can you share the legal basis for existence of the 'Somali Republic'?

Did Somalia (former Somalia Italiana) ratify the Act of Union like Somaliland?

If Somalia did not, can you claim that the existence of the 'Somali Republic' was legal?

Secondly, who made Somalia (former Somalia Italiana) the successor state to the illegal 'Somali Republic'?

Bla bla bla broken record. You bowed after the British for 30 years and repeated June 26 like Al Fatah for 30 years to no success.

Insanity.

Even your Godfather, the British took its embassy to Mogadishu.

Btw Nigeria has more case of being more than one country. I don't expect someone like you to know beyond Darood, Qorilugood, June/May and ictiraafdoon.

The British ruled the south way longer than the north. The south accepted the British, their education system and their church where as the largely Muslim north resisted them under many leaders/chiefs etc.

The British eventually defeated the north and United the two.

This is where Boko Haram idea has its roots. They always rejected western education in the north.

Our Hausa brother needs to know Somali Republic is more homogeneous and unitary state than the British created Nigeria whose burning with many unrests including the Igbo resentments who wish to cede from the rest of Nigeria. Go read about Biafra.

Biafra is Nigerian and Somaliland is Somali Republic :som:

The only broken record void of any rationale is you sheegato.

So? A British embassy in Mogadishu doesnt diminsh our legitimate case that was confirmed by AU itself in 2005.

Somaliland's main obstacle is geopolitics just like our neighbor to the north i.e South Yemen which is another country with legitimate reasons to dissolve their union with North Yemen.

Unlike South Yemen, our "union" with former Somalia Italiana was not legal!

Wether Nigeria becomed 4 or 7 countries in the future is none of my business but your pathetic argument and comparison holds no water.

Mr Awrastale

Your one-man crusade against Somaliland will end in humiliation for you if you don’t stop while you have time. This constant calaalcal will only make you look bad. If you don’t believe the Somaliland thing, just let it go without resentment.

We know, it all started for you when your uncle lost the election which shows that you were only Somalilander when it suited you and know that your uncle lost the election you went ballistic.

His determination of going the extra mile in opposing his country will backfire at him.

Interesting video. That Nigerian guy knows all the cities in the region. The main thing I noticed is they all, in a polite way, agreed that Somalis are lazy people. Is it true everything, including water, is really expensive in Hargaisa?

What uncle?

You mean the bald clown? No body mocked him more than me.

I give no fock what he lost and never supported him for a minute. Don't forget I'm the creator of the "monk"

He is just HY but my very own uncle is high ranked in Kulmiye. I don't give a fock two cents about it.

I never believed in the secessionist project and never will.

Aiding you against Darood keyboard fadhi ku dirir doesn't mean I was pro secessionism.

I disliked most Darood for ina Iley. Now he is history so is our fadhi ku dirir.

I talk facts. Tolayeey doesn't always work.

Why all this bitterness now? if you never believed in Somaliland why we never heard you say or write about anything bad before? You are free and entitle to you opinion and can say or write about whatever you want to but all I am saying is don't stoop to the level of the Somaliland enemy unless you count yourself as an enemy as well.

I'm bitter. You guys are the bitter ones who expect all Isaaq to go with the flow. I am merely expressing my views. Some times I have to come hard because secessionists only understand such treatment.
