Omar Arter Ghaleb, a habr awal isaak member of somalia's former parliament, supported the oromo cause

Postby Waachis » Sat Mar 16, 2019 2:54 pm

''Almost all groups in the Horn of Africa with a political ambition have always recognized the decisive nature of Oromo politics in shifting the balance of force in one direction or another.
The new Somali state of the 1960s was one of them. The eminent Somali politician, Omer Arter Ghaleb, once addressed the Somali Parliament at the height of the Macha-Tulama movement advising that Somalia create a common cause with Oromos.
He was Somalia's Ambassador to Ethiopia at the time. He reported that this was turned down because it was perceived to be in the long run contrary to Somalia's ambition to lay claims to all the Oromo inhabited areas East of the Rift Valley.''

He was also foreign minister through out the 1970s he was second guy at the U.N. once he spoke flaunt Arabic amharic Somali English Russian. He put the former Somali republic under the Arab league. He was an excellent diplomat of his time. The Isaaq have nothing against oromo the only conflict between the 2 was during siyad Barre regime who used his abo oromo militia in the war and the second conflict was back in 2017 when Oromo killed Isaaq merchants in hawadey. There has never ever been another conflict between Isaaq and Oromo through out the history. But we know that oromo are closely 're lated to daarood that's why they side with them most of the time in political disputes. We have paid a visit and both axmed abiye and lemme meqershe and Axmed shide welcome the messiah Muuse Isaaqson in a very good way. But we demand more from Ethiopia atleast from a polticial point of view.
