Retirement plans - financial advice

Walaalos considering a significant number of SNet members are now approaching retirement I wanted to offer my services as a financial advisor.

This is strictly for reer UK and USA, I have googled what 401K is and UK pension. I am ready to help :mrgreen:

I worked as a nurse, so I have different career background.
I wish to live in your area , I would break my toe , just to be under your care . I wouldn't even take pain killers , to make you busy with my broken toe . :lol:

Keep it simple:

1. Try to save 1 year of living expenses first.

2. Pay off all your debts- interest payments are the enemy.

3. Invest in low cost index funds and stay the course (ignore market news better yet only look at your retirement balances once a year say at your birthday)
