The difference between qurbaha and back home

Postby theyuusuf143 » Fri May 17, 2019 6:36 am

1. Back home no body goes out without Ironing his/her clothes. There is an Iron in every home. In Europe we don't give a shit , unless it's an special occasion or you work in place that you have to look in a certain way . We wear clothes straight from the dryer . Ironing is not cheap , I am sure Ironing is the single most energy consuming Appliance in every household in somaliland. And the worst part is iidoors sit for khat right after the ironing , and sheekhs sit for a very long ataxyaad during their prayers. Ironing trousers makes no sense it's waste of money , time and energy. Especially if you eat khat or pray 5 times a day.

2. Back home peaple eat at least 3 times a day, and if they miss one single one they get angry . The worst part is you have to eat on time otherwise food gets bad quickly , this is one of the reasons we are poor . We waste a lot of food because you can't keep it fresh for 2 hours if you don't have a fridge.

3. In Europe you can rarely feel hungry because of the climate and most people eat once or twice a day. In fact I never had breakfast for a very long time. And the good thing is food never goes bad no matter if it's winter or summer. You cook something today , leave it on the table (no fridge) 12 hours later it's still fresh . This Never happens back home . This is one of the main reasons why Europe is Rich , they waste nothing at all.

You actually leave cooked food on table for 12 hours, in winter with heat on or summer, and then eat it?

I sometimes do in winter only at night though if am super lazy to transfer it to containers. Summer you are asking for trouble.

Yes that's normal for me. If you smell or taste the food is as fresh as it was 12 hours ago. I am pretty much sure this is normal for most folks living in Western Europe. Although we tend to always use the fridge , sometimes you may live the pot on the cooker over the night .
