Largest Cities in Somalia

There are three cities in Somalia with a population over 1 million: the capital, Mogadishu, is the largest with 2,425,000 citizens, Beledweyne with 1,947,000, and Baidoa with 1,400,000.

Baydhabo and Kismaayo are both bigger than Baladweyne. Baydhabo is the 2nd biggest city in the south after Mogadishu.

In order of size
1. Mogadishu ( 2 million +)
2. Hargeisa ( around 1 million )
The next 5 are similar in terms of size, some are more densely populated and some have larger area. bosaso, beledweyne , Burco, baydhabo and galkacyo as well. 200-400k in each city probably
