Realistically where else were they gonna go as a landlocked country? They don’t trust Eritrea, which is Tigrayans iin different suits. Somalia is a mess. Kenya is too far to be of strategic use.

My concern is, it’ll be operated from Bahi Dar, Amhara’s capital. A goal by Amharas to claim Djibouti as their own. They have incessant obsession of calling Djibouti as their own.

It cements IOG as the perpetual leader of Djibouti, or his hand picked successor.

On both accounts I oppose this agreement.
