The topic was very informative especially as ammo for the people who create myths that MSB AUN ‘created Gedo’.

Labadaan wiil waan ka daalay aniga. Listen at some point, one has to make a choice.

Are you Mareexaan or are you reer Siyaad/reer Dalal/reer Hassan, etc. If you are hebel sub-clan, then go orad meelaha reer Siyaad/reer Dalal/reer Hassan ku cawaystaan aa da. If you are Mareexaan though, then Mareexaan noqo.

Something you said Smile was an AHA moment for me. What common thread unites these two boys more than anything? I couldn't answer that besides saying waa iskh juffo until that moment Smile when you said THESE TWO BOYS MAREEXAAN KELI BAY U SHAFWEYN YIHIIN.

You said Saddam has cuqdad toward reer Diini Smile; no he does not, IT'S THESE TWO BOYS WHO HAVE CUQDAD FOR NON-REER DIINI.

Remember what I told you a while back on private messaging Smile; If I was Marexaan but not reer Diini, I would hate reer Diini.

I was able to come to a profound realization when I chose to become Mareexaan instead of reer Diini, Mareexaan instead of reer Siyaad.

Reer Siyaad singlehandedly and disproportionately owned some of the biggest blame for dagaaladii Mareexaan dhexdiisa and the division and chaos that ensued. Many people say reer Siyaad way is badaleen maanta; if they did it's not out of the goodness of their heart. They got slapped across the face and was told to fix up.

Saddam represents the perspective of the people who had to deliver that slap. There is no clan whose authority, dignity, and stature was more encroached upon by reer Diini than reer Hassan and reer Hassan had to strap on their guns and regrettably wage war.

Yet you have never seen Saddam with UNUKAA LEH mentality. You have never seen him say meeshaan anaa leh and actual Mareexaan sub-clans "had to leave." You have never seen Saddam display actual hatred, malice, and ill-will towards any Mareexaan. You have never seen him argue a desire for reer Hassan AT THE EXPENSE of Mareexaan.

You have never seen him do ANY of that which these two boys do constantly.

Saddam displays what we call fejignaan which is a mixture of dulqaad, but vigilance. It's a perfect description of "alright I want to work with you but fool me once, shame on you but fool me twice, shame ON ME."

That's what Saddam displays; fejignaan. Saddam has turned the page with reer Diini, but he will hold them accountable. That's what is behind when he calls out reer Diini and that's something I support 500%.

Yet these two other boys are the manifestation of everything that I, as a reer Diini, have said would make me hate reer Diini if I was anyone Mareexaan clan. Unlike Saddam, their shid is pure ill-will and destructive; it is always something AT THE EXPENSE of other Mareexaan.

Understand this clearly. If I want something for reer hebel, ok that's nice even though it would be better if you wanted it for all Mareexaan....but if I want something for reer hebel AT THE EXPENSE of Mareexaan, then I am focking evil, negative, and destructive as fock. Best believe.

You said I went savage on them. Aniga Mareexaan waxaan ka ahay reer Siyaad. These two boys don't go after reer Siyaad, they don't display any malice toward reer Siyaad and reer Dalal and us have no substantive disagreement between us/waxba iskuma haysano. As a result, my position against them isn't personal.

I just focking tired of them and their divisive, negative attitude. I responded to them in the name of Mareexaan and consistently have told them diplomatically this is a Mareexaan space; act like Mareexaan or amaan nasiiya. If you insult one Mareexaan sub-clan or engage in negative, ill-will to me that's as if you have attacked all of us. Waa laga xishooday, waa laga xishooday, waa laga xishooday. Unfortunately, Somalis long say fulayga markaad ka xishooto, baqdin buu moodaa.

Reer Dalal are my closest blood, waa my nephews, mothers to my cousins, waana tolkay. If I have a problem today, reer Dalal would be the first people I call for help. They do not love reer Dalal more than I do.

At the same time, rer Dalal and rer Siyaad and rer Diini as whole are going to be people I will be even harsh on if need be to hold them accountable for their disproportionate and outsized role in historically being the biggest divisive entity in Mareexaan.

Cid aan uga hibeysanayo taas majirto.

Reer Siyaadkaan ka dashay are the first people I say to shaydaan baad ahayd, hadana waan kaasii shidaynaa; get real if you think reer Diini kalaan dhaafayaa.

Voltage,

I hold no cuqdad towards ilmo Ugaas Diini, I acknowledge their head of MX dhaqan wise and hogaanka siyaasada. Even I mucaraday my own adeer, Ina Sayid Adan whose my closet adeer as waa nin Reer Yusuf oo Maxamud Haruun ah, while I'm Cadaawe Haruun! Shit I even privately went against my own Ugaas, Ugaas ka Guud ee Reer Xassan, Ugaas Maxamed Yarow! Who is a kinsmen on my jiffo hoose and we are apart a couple odayaal! I believe in the mantra of telling your family members the harsh truth sometimes. I remember when I first joined this site. I was idiotic and dumb. I said things that older MX heads like Advo and Warsame didn't like. I might troll nowadays out of jokes. But I hold no illusions though, I believe we are stronger together than apart. We have people who have taken advantage of our disunity in Jubbaland and the leaders I mentioned are only opposed to Farmaajo due to the memory of the MX civil war in Gedo. When I mentioned that story about Reer Cigaal Siyaad and Reer Haruun Yusuf beef concerning Buurdhubo and the tidbit about Col. Abdirizak Isaaq Bihi in Buurdhubo, it wasn't to mock or insult Reer Siyaad. Smile, misunderstood to be that. It was to show how bloody and dangerous our conflict was. I said we are neighbors and I can vouch for Reer Siyaad's valor not Reer Dalal. Today in Garbaharey we are brothers. But there's a known attitude in Gedo about Reer Mudug that they are cunsuri and have this superority complex. This was shown in how certain Reer Mudug believe Hawrarsame waa gun due to old tales. Shit even Grandpa in this VERY forum implied that! In Gedo, we don't know that attitude. They are our brothers. I really detested how Adali shitted on Wagardhac. It bothered me alot. As Wagardhac are one of the most pro MX but due to politics are in the PL camp. Whose to blame for that? I say bah Ogaden, as they claim they are the head of MX in Galmudug! We live in the 21st century. MX has alot of enemies, disunity is how Ahmed Madobe has maintained power due to our past misdeeds. We have to get rid of this jiffo bullshit and come up with common strategic interests. I remember a old Cumar Maxamud oday who told me that the Reer Nugaal and Bari are racists due to the fact they aren't front line and don't border non Darood, they can afford to be cunsuri. Thats how i view these two. They aren't front line and waa iska hadlan.

Waa tanaasulay ina adeer hadaa tahay faraca Diini Ugaas hadalka iga maqal, sida loo gar baxo aan ku baree.

in a desperate attempt to score sub-clannish points you slandered Marxum Gaani aun in a response to my opposition to Afar waaxood, everyone remembers in another thread you showed yourself to be adamantly in favour of this recent political construct peddled in Caabudwaaq by outsiders.

you also disrespected our president Mohamed Abdullahi Farmaajo and honorable former PM Abdi Farah Shirdoon again to score petty sub-clannish point, as distasteful as this was I believe nin xil qaaday eed qaadye, and I do not believe you are anti-Farmaajo but it was just the heat of the moment so I am totally understanding of that, but insulting a dead muslim is going too far, I take it Voltage you are regretful for that at least ?

You also mocked those Rer Dalal who died defending their ancestral homeland in Burgeesoole against Ethiopian offensive on the border settlements pointing out how there was rivers of blood, how we died cowardly. It is true hundreds were killed, and including some of my cousins, and many brave souls were lost may they rest in eternal paradise. Among them was a young man named Dalal Caynaashe he is well known as he took down 3 ethiopian tanks before meeting his untimely demise at the hand of Habeshi, armed only with Ak-47 and rocket launchers Rer Dalal Geeljire were no match to Ethiopian army but we managed to halt an army hell bent on invasion, as you know they did take control of Goldogob and Balanbale but never Burgeesoole and those settlements as they were defended by the locals.

Politics should never drive you to slander, mock and insult the dead regardless if they are you kin or not, but especially if they are you kin it is not a good look, so if you apologies and recognize your wrongs we can forgive and forget.

Saddam-

Trust me dude; I am logical and rational thinking human being who tries to actually employ logic and rationality. I have observed your perspective over a long period and found myself not only quite in agreement but also very proud that you are the next generation with such a well thought position. By that I mean, it's easy to be bitter like odayasha xun that caused the division and hate or its effortless to just surrender and follow meeklessly. What you chose was something that was neither easy nor weakwilled. You said we need to work together; in fact you WANT to work together but there will be accountability so when someone focks up, you will be set straight. So everytime you engaged in what we call KULAALASHO (aka I'ma tell you to stop cuz you just focked up right about now), the untrained eye would see an "attack" on reer Diini where I long observed it was the family member calling for an intervention. Sxb when a family holds each other accountable, no one else will ever come into the picture because by the time we open that front door in the beginning of the day we are not individual pieces of the puzzle without a picture of the solution; rather we are pieces of the puzzle where each knows what part of the picture it is responsible for. That's how you thrive

Adali-

I neither slandered nor disrespected; what I did was touch you with a small part of dabkaad adigayo Grandpa holaciisa Mareexaan maalin walba ku qabataan.

For example, my statement about Gaani (AUN) was not a personal slander per se. Someone familiar with Mareexaan dacaayad would have known immediately. By that I mean, Mareexaan always say dawlada Majeerteen musuqmaasuq baa dumisay, dawlada Mareexaana DHILAYSI. I don't know if you know, but anytime Mareexaan wants to make a comparison using a Sade personality during the Siad government, they always GURI DHILUU ku jiray. So that wasn't a slander that was personal or unique to Gaani.

The whole point of even bringing him up (and which you apparently seem to take issue with when done against you) was because you and Grandpa constantly engage in denying OWNERSHIP/LAHAANSHO to reer Caabudwaaq who are NOT bah-Ogaadeen. You have constantly done it to Wagardhac and your post that garnered that response from me was an escalation with you essentially including Hawlraarsame, Celi, and Habar Ciise. Who da fock is left but bah-Ogaadeen. Reer Siyaad Xussein baad beerlaxowsataan but that's because reer Siyaad Xussein are the only clan to the east of Caabudwaaq until Xananbuuro. There is no way to exclude them realistically without blatantly being a bah-Ogaadeenist. All the other clans waxaad ku gaban kartaan they are West towards Ethiopia INCLUDING YOU to be honest.

There is nothing worse than denying ownership to people and especially to things they are entitled to. Our entire country is in war and we all know that's because they want the ownership due to them; ownership over representation, rights, land, etc.

Sxb, just because bah-Ogaadeen is the biggest, doesn't mean Habar Ciise or Celi or Wagardhac are any less reer Caabudwaaq. If I own a house on a block and you do and at some point your uncles and cousins and relatives start buying other houses on the block, does that mean I am no longer "reer Block" because there is more of you? Wtf; that is so insulting and actually focking degrading coming from another Mareexaan. Hadaad tiro ku faanto, tirada ilaahay baa bixiyo lakin no Mareexaan is any less "reer Caabudwaaq" than bah-Ogaadeen ESPECIALLY qabiilo whom we all recognize are AS A COMMUNITY are through and through reer Caabudwaaq.

I am reer Siyaad; we are not as a community part of Caabudwaaq's history and fabric or say Beled-Xaawo. I would still find it troubling that I, as another Mareexaan, would ever been denied the ability to call myself reer Caabudwaaq or Beled-Xaawo if that's where I chose to live.

I would find it even more troubling, even unfathomable, possibly even a declaration of war, if that denial was towards people who AS A COMMUNITY have been part of Caabudwaaq and Beled-Xaawo's history and fabric and in fact, that's essentially Gedo had a 12 year war after Al Itihad when reer Axmed and reer Xassan kicked each other out of Dollow and Luuq and Hawlraarsame finally said enough, I am not going to be invisible anymore in Beled-Xaawo (where they may even be able to compete with Cali Dheere in numbers there).

So dude, I brought up the history of Caabudwaaq where the communities you maligned had an outsized role. Col Faarax Baasiin WAS the leader of the resistance. Saying that and broadening the history of Caabudwaaq by including people YOU have excluded was not intended to exclude YOU. I never said rer Dalal didn't die or defend. I let you they were not the only one.

Gaani was the most prominent Dalal general I could think of and the comparison used about him was a generic Marexaan dacaayad for all Mareexaan who were in Siad's gov. It was nothing personal.

As for Farmaajo and Shirdoon; I have nothing but profound respect for both and will defend them to the very end, but I have said nothing different than Grandpa or you have said or I haven't enumerated a million times. It's also not even something personal to them. All Mareexaan leadership has that annoying dabeecad. I have said time and time again, the biggest thing I admire about Majeerteen is THEY GET THEIR SHIT; they don't give a hoot what others think. If they could, they would take all the vaults in The Central Bank and take it to Garowe. Waa niman rag ah.

Reer baadiyeyahoow orad na dhaaf. Mareexaan ma tihid, bah-Ogaadeen iyo reer Dalal ayaad tahay. Ok orad reer Dalal iyo bah-Ogaadeen aad, anagu Mareexaan baan nahay

This is the internet, no one even focking knows you are really reer Dalal. For all we know you're Hawiye lakin reer Dalal baa reer abti kuu ah kusoo dhex kortay.

There has been innumerable ways that you have been a SINGULAR anomaly among us for as long as I can remember.

1. Almost NONE of us subscribe to the injustice our ancestors committed against Hawlraarsame.

Except for you.

2. No reer Diini here has tried to perpetuate the reer Diini vs. non-Reer Diini divide that was a major cause of the MX civil war. For as long as I can remember starting from Xoogsade, all the people who have claimed reer Diini have admitted one way or another the guilt of our parents.

Except for you.

3. Except for Saddam who only has done it as an informational form of comparison, no one here has ever perpetuated the reer Gedo/Guri vs. Reer Mudug/Galti divide that was another major cause of the civil war.

Except for you.

4. For example, I have said time and time again, my chosen hometown is Beled-Xaawo. Beled-Xaawo is where I will build a house inshallah if I get to building one in Somalia. Beled-Xaawo is not "deegaan" to reer Siyaad nor reer Diini, neither even reer Faarax Ugas for that matter. I cannot even IMAGINE someone telling me Beled-Xaawo UNUKAA LEH, orad Garbahaaray ka dhiso halkaas bay reer Siyaad degaan.
No one here has ever even gotten close to even thinking about such a farfetched and un-Mareexaan like dhaqan like UNUKAA LEH.

Except for you.

Etc etc etc

I mean you are really such a unique and extreme anomaly among us full of negativity, division, juffo juffaysi, and unbridled CUQDAD

Orad Hawiyaha dabada u kala qabo like you always do while bearing your fangs at other Mareexaan like a slimy, slithering python.

At the most, even if you really are, it's consistently clear your calculus does not pass farther than reer Dalal or bah-Ogaadeen. In spirit, it is obvious you are not Mareexaan although you will use the Mareexaan name when it helps your calculus.

In effect, even if you are telling the truth about what you are, reer Dalal iyo bah-Ogaadeen ayaad tahay laakiin Mareexaan ma tihid.

So maadama aadan Mareexaan ahayn, I don't understand waxaad naga dhex samaynayso to be honest.

Ina adeer. This what i implied by these kids don't know what the costs of war were for us. To be completely honest and harsh towards Reer Dalal. I never heard of them fighting any clan. Shit they aren't as well known as amongst MX Konfuurta as Reer Siyaad and Reer Ugaas Shermarke and Reer Kooshin. To be completely and brutally blunt, I don't think Reer Dalal would survive in Gedo with that attitude. They would be karbaashed by non Reer Diini clans as they would be outnumbered. It goes back to my quote of the old Reer Khalaf oday, they don't know the costs of being surrounded by non MX on all borders such as Garre, Rahanweyn, Degodiya and OG. Who ALL want your head off. Add to the fact you have a hostile neighboring country who views you as a security threat Thus, supporting a rival clan to ethnically cleanse you. These kids waa Ciyaal say wallahi. I don't know internal MX politics of Galbeed iyo Mudug. Laakin as you are nin Reer Siyaad ah. You know they'll scream Reer Farax Ugaas and Reer Xuseen Yusuf to save their lives in Gedo. You seen how odayasha Reer Ahmed reacted to Janan's arrest. Probably Ina Taano told Farmaajo to tread easily. They didn't have other MX putting up isbaro for numerous years with foreign countries arming the rival factions. To us, MX unity is a MUST not a idea. We have too many enemies not to follow danta guud.

 madax timo riiman, marexaan Gedo riiman

saddam marexaanka mudug are surrounded by enemies too but most are in galbeed, but they are moving to cabudwaaq
in numbers, the rise of celi in mudug is one of the significant events in post civil war mudug

reer Gedo have a frontier mentality, they are pioneers but in mudug people have old europe mentality, waxay isku qabsadan wax aan qiimo lahayn, while jubalanders waxay isku qabsaan ya noqonaya, the master of the two rivers dawa and juba and who shall adminster the Indian ocean

reer jubaland want to create a texas, california and colorado while nortern somalis fight over meesha geela reer jubaland ku xaari jirey before the great migration, that is in essence the difrrence between, reer jubaland, reer koonfurgalbeed, reer hirshabelle vs northen somalis beyond beledwayne

adali  reer siyaad and reer dalal both are no angels there is allot of blame to go around, lakin marexaanwayne needs to be respected

grandpa, ninyahow weedkaga ma iska cabtid, ileen reer dalal aa marexaan wax kama taqanid ee
cali amanreer did the same as what reer dalal did :o

seefta marexaan qortada bay saaraan tahay but you just can see it
