population shifts that will take place in three regional capitals

Postby sahal80 » Fri Jan 10, 2020 1:14 pm

1-Kismaayo

Kenya has an strategy of friendly Bantu buffer zone in Kismaayo and coastal area to connect them with its bantu that populates lamu county so in the last 4 years there has been Somali bantu resetlements in Kismayo the number is estimated around 40,000 this is a city with around 200,000 population. i also heard that somali cadcads from xamar and barawe are moving back to kismaayo from mombasa.

https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.voan ... enya%3famp
"According to Human Rights Watch, most of these displaced persons belong to the Bantu ethnic minority population as well as the Rahanweyn clan. Most of the latter have migrated from the southern Jubba Valley and the Gedo region, while the remainder have arrived from Kismayo, Mogadishu and Bardera.[28]"

"The influx of former refugees began when Kenyan authorities signaled they were serious about closing down the Dadaab refugee camp, which, at the time, was home to more than 300,000 people, most of them Somalis"

as for Somali clans, Kismayo has experienced a more OG population in the last 10 years. alot of folks moved to kismaayo from the country side, Kenya and ethiopia to benefit from the security, the port and chamber of commerce and NGOs. who remembers that Ethiopian ambassador in switzerland or sweden during the ethiopian occupation of Xamar he is OG reer isxaaq? now he joined JL managing all the NGOs some many of his jufo from ethiopia moved to Kismaayo to get these jobs this leads me now to Jowhar

2-Jowhar

maybe you guys dont know that hawadle live inside middle shabelle in two districts one is adan yabaab on the coastal side the other is in mahadaay district 27 km from Jowhar and our villages in this district ar far from jowhar about 35-40k you can see this map both mahadaay and adan yabaal. i mean in the future these communities will get closer to jowhar as hirshsbelle capital but now there is alot of hawadle deegaameysi in Jowhar as the political capital and in the form of NGOs and muqaayado qurba joigta ku dagto while seeking political positions
Jowhar will still be dominated politically by Abgaal but the influx of more reer hiiraan (already has gaaljecel western suburb adjacent to the lower shabelle in daafeet/walaweyn)will split it into two in the future but i dont expect wars as this writer thinks. just demographic shift. unlike of HG anaga abgaalka dhulkooda waa uga danbaynaa and we consider hiiraan our real land.

3-Dhuusamareeb

HG and MJ dont mix but the former is disorgnized though this is their way of living(wearing many shirts so each one can have its feast)

Like Garowe, it will be more diverse and you know HG subclans welcome anyone with Money.

lol sxb i know adan yabaal more than jowhar im just giving the reader close proximity i said the coastal directiin not the coastal adan yabaale. ruun nirgood is the coastal area. our macaeisleey went deep into adan yabaal but to avoid abgaal qaylo they stopped chasing al shabaab in there. now this is the only area(between moqokori and adan yabaal al shabaab control in the whole maxaas district. macawisleey control too between jalalaqsi and buulourde breaking the blockade from the countryside. Abgaal need to clean adan yabaal or leave for oir macawisleey to clean it. you never captured this district since you liberated jowhar.

Ogaden has a calture of dominating where ever they move to . For some how they don't give much importance to their original lands , but they love to discover new places . Even in the 70S and 80s the ogaaden were seriously thinking about taking over hargeisa. Ogaaden are the Mongols of the horn of africa .

Kismaayo will never be Ogaden dominated. They will be chased out like they were in Hargeisa. Secondly, MJs won't be coming to Dhusamareeb as long as MX is there. Walalaha Galgaduud is forever. MX Reer Guuri are moving in heavily into Jubboyinka from Ethiopia.

There is no doubt that it will be dominated by ogaaden Even though it should be metropolitan

dadaa kufsi ku qaraabta, dadaa idps ku qaraabta. i know some of them waa barareen.

There is no population shift going in jubbaland. In fact I asked this question to a guy I know who resides in kismaayo. He said that og are more then before but are still not bigger then even harti let alone mx.

Og in kismaayo are mainly soldiers and businessmen whose families don't even reside in Somalia.
