Postby sahal80 » Thu May 21, 2020 4:01 am

Al hamdulilah wabigii waa noqdey waxaa bilaabmay xiligii nadaafada iyo la tacaalida cudurada ka dhasha fatahaada. horta saan horey u sheegay sanadkaan wax badan ayaa laga hortagay inkastoo usbuucii labaad uu gaaray dhamaan xaafadaha magaalada ilaa bilowga howlwadaag gadaasha liiqliiqato laakin xaafadaha galbeed saamaun wayn kuma yeelan sida buundowayn iyo howlwadaag. bariga ayaa 95% biyaha galaan markaste waxaana ugu wacan waa meel lowland ah oo u dhaxeysa buuraha iyo wabiga. waxaa ku yaala lix waadi(mountain streams) oo wabiga ku shubma. saa darteed wabi kale ayaa laga jeexaya waqooyiga magaalada oo wabiga uga biiri doono koonfurta galbeed ee magaalada. hadaanan wax la qaban laheen biyaha bil ka badan waa ku jiri laahaayeen magaalada sidii waagii hore laakin hada waxay ku jireen labo week waxaana ugu wacan furidii kanaalada uu ugu horeeyo canal waraaboole iyo cara tuurkii hareeraha wabiga. inkastoo markii hore howsha la soo daaheen qolyaha xamar laakin sida hada wax ku socdaan horaa howsha biya xireenka laga galayaa waxaa kuu dheer iskutashiga communityga oo min $20 gurigii balan qaadey inay dhiibaan. i hope this will be the last flood in baladweyne.

xaafada gugundhabe ee baladweyne is in another planet every time there is hardly floods why? the rainfall surging down from the north eastern mountains into the river at hilikilyo shown in the picture causes flooding in the east side. biyaha buuraha waxaa loo samaynayaa canal gadaasha magaalada wabiga uga dara dhanka koonfur bari like is shown in the picture. canal kalana waxaa laga leexinaa galbeedka. this will be funded by italy and world bank.

the second factor is that the river winds through the eastern and westren Hawadle nighbourhoods in the shape of snake. the big red area in both sides of the river is hawadle except between where it says doonsubagle and hilaac district(gaaljecel) and heegan distroct jijeele. hawadle xaafado start from where it says unknown(kooshin) in the north to buundowayn district on the south west and dhagaxjibis district in the southeast. xaafada gugundhabaha(howlwadaag) are in banaanka(remote area)

this is the worst flood few years ago not now.

sahal is painting a rosy picture, and ignores a new dangerous phenomena; climate change. Conventional patches aren't gonna work without taking into account climate change. Effective solutions that last longer would require far more funds, newer technologies & engineering, etc. More critically, not much would change without limiting the endemic corruption.

 sxb climate change iyo waxaas ilaahaybaan taladeeda saaranay laakin mo ogtahay fatahaada wabiga ee hada inuu soo jabsadey islahabeenkii xamar roobku burburiyay? it is not caused by biyaha wabiga its caused by a prolonged rainfall and the river snakes through the town like the letter S. i already posted these pics from the engineers on how to deal with these streams and brooks. this girl posts nice solutions for baladweyne and xamar. this is what we gonna do to prevent them from extending up into the river. many unlawful residential buildings near the river will be demolished. you know there was no city planning in the last three decades. dadka qaarkood waxay degeen meelaha wabiga laga neefsiiyo sida kiliyada taas oo keenaysa inay biyihii meelo kale ku leexdaan. funds r ready.
