many of our uk diaspora built nice houses in Baladweyne and went back to Hiiraan for lack of basic health care services and basic necessities they moved from Baladweyne to Xamar or Borama some sold their houses or rented it to the local guys who work in the NGOs that is why you need federalism. back siyaad barre time there was no single university outside of Xamar even lafoole was a faculty or division within Jaamacada umada and they r telling you the country was very developed.

before federalosm central regions suffered the most as they had no States in Hiiraan there is a window of hope now after the formstion of Hirshabelle to better the local service.
