Turkish company demands Somalia works stand up when walking past

Postby mahoka » Fri Oct 02, 2020 7:27 pm

Turkish company has demanded its somali workers stand up as a sign of respect when upper management walks past. Turkey colonised somalia in 2011 during the famine of that same year By donating food aid and infrastructure.

My question to reer somalia is don’t you guys have an ounce of integrity or shame?

Come on guys don't behave like unruly teenagers there is nothing wrong with that memo, respect of authority and management in the work place is crucial and increases output

The only thing is, this is a security company, and security is expect to act or follow some military rules such as respect for authority, even though I don’t agree with it, but even in America, sometimes security that work in downtown aren’t expected to sit and my stand all 8 hrs, this one just said stand when you see a manager.
Also the person that sent the memo is a Somali ( Fadumo Omar).

Favori LLC at least employs the locals, while DP in Berbera employs foreigners (including timojileec) 'cause the locals are perceived as lazy plus they steal. Another company in gobolka Waqooyi Galbeed that mines some macdan employs Middle Eastern truck drivers, again 'cause the locals aren't trusted to be honest and hardworking. Just a few examples of what's going on in other places besides Xamar.

Sister you are emotional again. See how you jumped on DP world when we are discussing your colonisation by Turkey?

Turkish don’t pay the workers (selected on 4.5 tribal system and not experience or education) which led to a demonstration.

Similarly two Turkish workers accused of sexual assault were allowed to leave Mogadishu because they are Turkish and their victims were somali women

Now security guards and lower level workers are expected to stand up when Turkish officials pass

A Mogadishu native has highlighted the abuses and humiliation taking place in the Mogadishu

What is the failed state planning to do about this? That’s probably the wrong question as a failed nation can’t do anything, maybe the UN and your former colonial masters Italy can stop this humiliation
