I also do believe marexaan will not rule kismayo in the Forseable future. Madoobe has been in power since 2013. Farmaajo sitting in the bunker4 years couldn't get anything done other then sending troops to gedo.

Kismaayo is no longer the battleground, it's now Gedo which is why you see them throwing everything they've got there.

Their entire survival depends on farmaajo returning, then him waging a war on JL and succeeding. If that fails, they're done, and gedo will most likely go to madoobe again since it'll no longer be defended by hawiye SNA.
