Canjeex needs to be replaced as the governor.

Postby XimanJaale » Mon Aug 02, 2021 7:44 pm

I will be honest, I am not a fan of Canjeex he is no different than Mualimo.

Mualimo was accused of stealing the tax collected in Gedo, hence he was replaced. The only reason Canjeex was appointed was to keep the Reer Hassan happy since their man Mualimo was stripped off. However Canjeex is no special, he is corrupt himself.

After the national election, there must be radical change in leadership in Gedo. We need corrupt free leaders that can lead the diverse Marehan sub-clans.

There is progress in Gedo, but a slow progress. Corruption is what is slowing it down.

I agree what I disagree with is just pinning on Reer Hassan. That’s just like me pinning everything on Reer Diini. It’s a shit show period.

I don't want to pin it on Reer Hassan. It's just that in reality they have the biggest manpower in Gedo when it comes to the sub-clans. They either should provide us good leaders or focus on being the footsoldiers and let other clans lead.

There are 3 clans that I don't think should lead Gedo for the next 4 years. These are Reer Hassan, Reer Diini and Reer Ahmed.

It’s 2021 sxb. Nobody is gonna be anybody’s footsoliders anymore. Replacing has nothing to do with corruption, if corruption was the basis for replacing people, Kulane and his croonies would've been replaced years ago. Why fight all the battles for a clan that regardless of what you do or don’t detests you regardless. We fought all of Siad battles in JL. No development, no nothing. Shit kinsmen from other regions took advantage of our tolnimo and tried to bury us. You see me calacaaling? Let’s face it, MXs have a lot undercover xin for each other. I’m starting to think it’s pointless to even help ppl who’ll resent you no matter what. Not saying you FYI just in general. You think we forgot who murdered Dr. Ali Nur or who waged war on us in the 90s? Plus Reer Hassan wasn’t always the leader of Gedo as well. We fight Oromos by ourselves with no complaints but some still have uppity attitudes towards us. Lastly, you can’t blame us for the poor leadership in Gedo when it’s more factors than a specific clan like mines. MXs as a whole neglect their degaans, we by ourselves can’t fix it. And I always wondered why we were so divided it’s because each sub clan operates independently. To answer your question take the leadership if you want Idc. It’ll be less blame on us. We’re soldiers first. And those who don’t fight always resent that. We didn’t lose our lands or others lands when shit got real. Right now we’re in extraordinary times, these civil conversations need to happen when once we free ourselves from gumaysi. We’re facing existential threats that you need us for. I don’t know when or how. But MXs need to be accountable to one other. But I do agree the current paradigm isn’t sustainable

Can we just stop the negative clan based generalization? Really perhaps we just need to stop.

Evem if you feel you are advocating for a maligned or unfairly situated group, do not argue for their equity by negatively generalizing another group.

I am starting to notice AS MAREEXAAN, they know how to load a rifle and aim bettet than man, but they are WHOLLY BEHIND most when it comes to problem solving.

Trying to solve one problem while simultaneously creating another problem is like trying to move 1 Step forward, by moving 2 Steps backward.

Anytime you are on the verge of making a negative group generalization just stop and solve your problem first which is backwardness.

For example, purely as a history buff, I would like to remind Ximan,

IRIS BAA AROOSAYOO, NINKII BAAHANOO, BARIIS WAA KAN!

Every single previous Governor of Gedo is either disliked or no one cares for him in Gedo.

But iris, Iris, IRIS!!!

He makes any reer Gedo above the age of 40 or who saw him in action, WEEP.

Every single public work, every single government build or regional facility, every school or shelter or feeding place, every piece of road, even compounded dirt when he couldn't get pavement, every single piece of WHAT LITTLE Gedo got from the 1960-1991 period, Iris fought with his bare teeth.

And whatever he could finally and rightfully take for Gedo as region passed over even with Marehan in government, IRIS MADE SURE EVERY SINGLE PENNY WENT INTO THE REGION.

Mushaar iska daa, the Geeljireyaal WOULD GIVE HIM THEIR FROTHING CAMEL MILK just milked onn the spot for Iris and his civil servants.

Iris sxb nin Sade Mareexaan ka ah Mareexaane XASSAN GAALSHIREEDLE ka ah bu ahaa.

For you to tell reer Xassan as a clan to step aside is for you to mindlessly and arbitrarily prevent the next IRIS possibly arising from reer Xassan.

For you to tell any CLAN to step aside as a group is for you to mindlessly and arbitrarily prevent the next IRIS possibly arising from any of the Marehan clans.

We want to get to personal accountability. It is time to move beyond clan generalizations.

Once this emergency situation is over. We need local elections like 1p1v. No legitimacy comes from appointments. It only creates resentments.

Conflict over tax is minor, and it is an internal issue that can be resolved with incremental changes over time, no change happens overnight, it has to happen slowly and consistently over time, there is nothing I can point my finger at that will make me oppose Canjeex currently.

My thing is I’m tired of both Xamar and Kismaayo appointing anybody. We should set up our own Gedo Guurti as to do background checks on any future candidates running for anything even the local DCs. It should be composed of both elders and intellectuals, women, youth etc. this for the future that I’m thinking. But you’re right incremental change is needed. Rome wasn’t built in a day

Of course, but in this moment, we need stability and what Ximan thought was an insult (being a little unfair here to Ximan to make a point) is actually extremely positive.

YES, YES, YES ABSOLUTELY YES CANJEEX HAS STATURE AND CREDIBILITY WITH REER HASSAN AND THAT STRONGLY FED INTO HIS NOMINATION AS GOVERNOR.

Why is it an insult to be picked FOR credibility or even try to demonize or put down the fact that Mareexaan, reer Diini included, from as high as the President's office intentionally and clearly were motivated by maslaxad and reconciliation trying to respond directly to any rer Hassan tabasho and were acknowledging their desire to address it.

That's not shameful to me. That's WHAT I WANT IN MAREEXAAN. I want Mareexaan that cares what their brother thinks and is self-aware of risk to brotherhood; that are proactive not reactive to potential damage to reconciliation and signal to each other "I hear you and I receive your message."

I would rather go too far indulging my brother than the opposite.

So yes Canjeex was picked because he was Reer Hassan and because he had credibility with reer Hassan.

But Canjeex is not only that, he is also the only Marehan leader currently that can go to my own sub-clan, swing open the doors, sit down like he is one and can say "let's think differently about this, there is no reason for you guys to think this is just against your sub-clan."

He is the only MX leader right now that can walk into Beled-Xaawo and command court between Reer Sheikh and Hiraabeeye between Celi Dheere right this second.

In a weird twist of fate that shows how unifying Canjeex is right now, do you guys even realize his reer Abti are WAGARDHAC, meaning he is half and half in his very parentage and upbringing, as Reer Guri as you can get and rer Gedood AND as reer Mudug as Mareexaan can get.

I have noticed NGM using the word XILIGA KALA GUURKA quite a bit, I LOVE IT. I pay attention to phraseology by habit so it was hard to miss it.

IT IS THE PERFECT WORD THAT SHOWS CANJEEX'S NEAR EXISTENTIAL IMPORTANCE AT THIS MOMENT.

  1. kumeel gaar vs kala guur

    1. Ku-meel-gaar is really TEMPORARY, short tenure, provisional, something not permenant/interim

    2. Kala-Guur is IN MOTION APART and when you add "Xiliga" it is MOMENT AT WHICH THERE IS MOTION APART/transitional

  2. Kumeel Gaar CONNECTS two permanent periods, it literally just fills the void between

  3. Xiliga Kala Guurka ENDS one permanent period, and BEGINS a new permanent period.

  4. Kumeel Gaar is like a COMMA (,) in a sentence, but Xiliga Kala guurka is like a PERIOD (.) at the end of the sentence

So this is why NGM's use of XILIGA KALA GUURKA is not only correct but the fact he uses that and not ku-meel-gaar is so linguistically perfect

Canjeex is Governor because hís experience, his understanding, even his familiar face IS STABILIZING right now in this moment of Xiliga Kala Guurka.

Literally one thing and one thing informs his job description right now; KEEP THIS SHIP UNDER CONTROL/DON'T EVEN LET IT SWERVE.

Canjeex is more mature and pragmatic than Macalimu, waa masuul weyn we have to respect the office he holds, but at the same time nin xil hayo eed bu qaaday, so you need to handle criticism better.

the entire intelligentsia of Beesha Sade particularly in Xamar and the Shacab in Kismaayo see what is going on and the pivot Gedo made thanks to key individuals, waana sharaf usoo hoyatay Rer Hassan and Rer Luuq.

You see outside of Gedo, MX are neutral and look at what is happening keenly awaiting for MX riman to fix up and move forward.

I’m Moalimu’s Ugaas. He’s a warrior. He has much to learn and understand. He’s from the line of the younger brother of Reer Yusuf, Reer Ibrahim. He should take this break and understand that. We told him as much. I can take criticism ina adeer. It was a certain phrase that angered me more than anything else.

I was a bit too harsh on Macalimu and Reer Hassan I sincerely apologise for my rant xooga wan ciilbaxayeey I was extremely wrong and emotional. Mucalimu I used to idolise him as a warrior of Marehan so his words really shook me it made me think ANYONE can be turned and dont rely on shaqsi but the process. As Ugaaska Rer Hassan I humbly request you accept it I feel ashamed :meles:

I accept your apology bro. It happens. My beef with you always was doing inter MX fkd on that site. I just didn’t want you to get kawaaled in front of shisheeye that’s all. I’m a forgiving person by nature. I’ve been on record stating Moalimu was wrong for that comment and should apologize. The Kulane and Farmaajo comments waa rag shit. But the Ugaas comment was inappropriate. It’s only words but if he betrayed beesha wallahi I wouldn’t defend him. But I know beesha if he brings guul tomorrow and apologizes. Nobody will remember his stupidity.
