These ministers don’t care, they will go where the wind blows. The justice minister was just swearing in the new internal security minister.

Also, the constitution is clear that the PM can dismiss and appoint cabinet ministers.

the constitution says any new minister has to be approved by the Parliament. plus Rooble himself decreed earlier no can be fired during election time.

so what rooble done was unconstitutional. take of off your farmaajo hatred glasses and look at things clearly.

It’s not very clear in the constitution as it also says it’s the responsibility of the PM. But I do find it funny that farmajo and his supporters all of a sudden care about the constitution. Isn’t he the same guy that wanted an illegal extension and by passed the upper house?

It seems farmajo didn’t vet his pick for PM very carefully and he was expecting a yes man. He also has a habit of not getting along with other leaders. At some point, instead of constantly defending farmajo’ actions and weak leadership, perhaps it’s time to admit that he is the problem? This man has caused so much damage to Somalia, I don’t see how anyone can defend him.

Have you actually read the current constitution of the Somali Federal Republic?

According to the constitution, Article 90 is titled 'The Responsibilities and Powers of the President of the Federal Republic of Somalia.' In Article 90, subsection (e), it reads, "Dismiss ministers, state ministers and deputy ministers on the recommendation of the Prime Minister;"

So, the president has the power to dismiss ministers if he agrees with the Prime Minister's recommendation. The PM cannot dismiss any minister without the approval of the president. If the president disagrees with the PM's recommendation, the minister in question stays.

Article 100 says it’s the PMs responsibility to appoint and dismiss ministers. The president appoints the PM and the PM appoints cabinet ministers.

You can stop pretending to care about the constitution as a failmajo supporter. No one believes you care about the constitution.

In order for the Prime Minister to dismiss any ministers he has to have the approval of the President. Article 90(e) states "Dismiss ministers, state ministers and deputy ministers on the recommendation of the Prime Minister;"

IF the president agrees with the PM's recommendation, then Article 100(b) which states "Appoint and dismiss members of the Council of Ministers;" can be invoked and the PM can exercise his power since he has the president's approval. Without the approval of the president, the PM cannot exercise his authority to dismiss any minister.

Where does it say that? You’re just making up stuff. The PM appoints and dismisses ministers. The president selects the PM. That’s why it’s important for the president to pick a PM that will do his bidding. But he has no power to stop the PM from choosing ministers. The president can dismiss the PM through parliament. The PM is not a ceremonial role as you make it out to be.
