Old-timer here haven't posted much in the past few years, I can't believe this forum is still up and running .
This used to be a forum to meet and interact with fellow Somalis and a place to rant about different topics.
I panicked a few years back when my posts here and on other forums were copied and pasted elsewhere and discussed. Received scrutiny from authorities and I still don't know what I did wrong.
So yes everything you say is recorded and will be used against you.
Freedom of speech is dead all over the world including the West. You will be cancelled if you don't self censor.
Anyway what's new, any old timers around?
The world is very different from 2015 , when everything around you is undergoing rapidly change you won't notice because you are part of it.
I stopped reading news articles , science magazine articles and logged out of all social media for the past 3 years and only recently came back to take look .
It's been quite a shock really , turns out that we are experiencing a revolution in many fields that were moving slowly a few years back.
Or maybe it's my perception or lack of it.
AI is accelerating so fast that I can actually imagine the singularity.
Quantum mechanics and its applications has also accelerated a d the results are incredible.
Material science and nanotechnology.
Biological science and genetic engineering progress is frightening .
Robotics and drone technology is moving at the predicted pace but everything will change as we approach the singularity event.
