It appears Garacad port would have the advantage of starting business ahead of Berbera port (a minimum of 5 years before its construction is completed). With plans to expand its size in a few years, Garacad port (possibly along with Bossaso port) could become a serious competitor to Berbera's. The lesson is, you don't need mega projects that require $billions, decades of construction, on top of being owned by foreign companies/states, and the possibility of abandoning it due to cost overruns (as happened to many mega projects); you only need an easily manageable, smart hybrid & expandable port like Garacad's. Nonetheless, competition is good for the consumer.
Interesting for you to bring up berbera several times in this discussion and not any other port (Mogadishu/hobyo/kismayo)
You must grow up and stop the tribalism, you have been the same for the last two decades you have been on this forum with zero growth in mindset. You are too angry for a guy in his mid/late 30s, you still have the tribalist mindset of young teens learning about qabiil.
