This is a harrowing story , what sort of justice allows an innocent man to serve such long sentence for a 'crime' he hasn't committed?

The crime of rape is a grave one, one that has always been severely punished by the Common law of England and US, but in this case, there is a prima facie serious miscarriage of justice and I hope the poor man is release soon and all those who contributed to this disgraceful injustice are punished themselves

In 1992, the House of Lord (the highest court in the UK) for the first time accepted the concept of matrimonial rape and their Lordships stated that it ought to be treated like other rape cases.

Thank goodness I haven't come a cross a case resembling this disturbing case.
