"My Somali isn't good" Are we losing our heritage?

Postby DamallaXagare » Sat Feb 11, 2006 4:01 am

I have come across such people many times. They are lost in between the middle and the end. I mean they can't write well enough the language of the host they love to identify with most of the time and they have lost touch with their mother tongue.

To the other side of the coin, We daily see or witness recorded events about African Americans desperately in search of an identity and a language they rightfully belong and claim.

How do you react to them?

Which one is better, Bilinguial, trilingual or being American--Geeljire hal Luuqad keliya yaqaan? Laughing
