Your picture is offensive. It depicts our prophet (Pbuh) carrying a bomb on his turbine. This is extremely offensive to us muslims. You maybe a naive kid or retarded old man with the brain of a toddler but that cartoon picture has been the subject of many things the past month.

Adminstrator, there are limits to freedom of speech , don't you agree?

Walaal have you noticed again the undue word we hear in the media during the awake of post-cartoon release is 'provoke'. And sadly what we have here is a guy who feeds off his controversial image on Som.net aiming to provoke and more to the point incite hatrd to grab people attension. Really sad. And i dont think he cares who he is offending, as long as people are drawn to his drivel, a job-very-well done in his eyes.

PS Dont address the admin, because there simply aint one

Amat_Allah, I understand.

The adminstrators have a responsibility. many countries have banned their newspapers and websites to publish these cartoons and we have a somali run website that does it!

Basra- aren't you one of the adminstrators? Do something, excercise your powers.

Indeed they have a responsibility and a central duty to restore order in a medium where God's knows what opninons can be summoned to the table. But unfortunatly we have incompentatnt administrators and a moderator that exercises her power inadequately. So were bound to have complete chaos and inorder to have some kind of kosmos, im pleaing Basra to please restrain EMB and his ilk

We shouldn’t tolerate such thing. It’s our religious duty to condemn such act. This guy is here in our home “SOMALINET” disrespecting our own belief and our own beloved prophet (SCW) and we have to sit here and watch? This is uncalled for. The f.ucking admin needs to do something about it immediately.

BASRA,

Do something about it DOQON YAHAY...not for us but for your own good.

The other side of this coin is Lion's spamming of Galol's thread, which you all applauded. I find both approaches absolutely outrageous.

Any decent forum worth the title needs rules that are uniformly applied. Both sides of this coin clearly cross the line.

If the Moderator allows this, then I quess Lion's spam remains appropriate to the forum. But I am personally offended by both, and I see both in exactly the same light. They are both insult, not argument. Arrow

Grant,
"which you all applauded" , who is "all"?Who applauds spamming? I never did!

I think one cannot compare spamming with the potrayal of our prophet having a bomb on his head. Help me understand how the two could be compared.

The two are not the same! This is exactly the arguments that have been used in Denmark.

Grant, How could you compare a spamming with blasphemy? The picture this dude is wearing is one of 12 pictures and even media outlets in the west did not show.
