The other side of this coin is Lion's spamming of Galol's thread, which you all applauded. I find both approaches absolutely outrageous.

Any decent forum worth the title needs rules that are uniformly applied. Both sides of this coin clearly cross the line.

If the Moderator allows this, then I quess Lion's spam remains appropriate to the forum. But I am personally offended by both, and I see both in exactly the same light. They are both insult, not argument. Arrow
Caydiid,

There is no such thing as BLASPHEMY. To us nonmuslims blasphemy means nothing. But I still objected to the publication of the cartoons in the first place and think EMB should take down that avatar.

Grant makes a good point when he says flooding of Galol's thread (this happened more than once mind you) by lioness as wrong as EMB's avatar.

Not outside of the particular religious dogma. To atheists, hindus, budhists, agnosts, toaist there is no such thing blasphemy. Only you muslims, xtrians and maybe jews have blasphemy as abominable offense.

*Grant*...

Im not trying 2 be ruthless, but as far im concerned this forum is owned by Muslims, so what do u consider Galol’s deed when he crossed the threshold 2 this forum jotting down contemptible comments about Allah and His Prophet, knowing the verity ppl will denigrate him and his comments expressing their anger in a preposterous way just 2 get rid of him. Yet again he continues 2 do the same thing in a daily basis. So u think its appropriate 2 tolerate *Galol* and his ilk 2 ridicule our religion, but it’s an inflammatory crime if one of us hijacked his threads?. Alongside, since when *deriding a particular religious convictions* was measured up 2 spamming a dismal thread, which also contained some vicious standpoints?. Or merely becuz they don’t have faith in a certain code of belief, they’ll exercise some odious practices towards those who believes. It’s like a case of lil kid who had a stand-up- fight with some.1 else in his age, compared 2 a case of a Muslim person who been maltreated just becuz of his belief. Now, which one is worst? And don’t forget that *lion-Heart* had a tendency 2 offend *Galol* only, while EMB is degrading a religion which almost every.1 who posts in this forum believes in.

War Heedhe, I don’t mind if they hijacked a particular thread *as they usually do* and stated their stance in regard 2 that theme which is being discussed, but 2 reach the point where they are using traumatically pics of our prophet, addressing him in an ill-mannered way. That’s beyond permissiveness and comprehensions... Very Happy

*Much Esteem and Reverence*

*Bless*

Grant is not the person many of us thought. Telling us he lived in Somalia in the 60's and speaking few somali phrases was nothing but a cover up. He thinks, acts and support the kafirs.

What i did to Galol's thread was a backlash of all the offensive things he has said about our religion. You pretend to know somalis and muslims, but you don't have a clue as to how we feel.

Sorry Grant, no comparison. As annoying as 'Heart's tendency may be, it's not offensive or insulting to others or a religion. Dude's avatar, however, fits into both.

but thanx for the defense.

Grant is sounding more and more like galol's follower.

People, i understand the frustration with EMB and those cartoons, but this is rather hyprocrisy considering the most devote muslims here on snet represent islam with terrorist images..like the child with the A47 on someone's avater i know..here you have depicted your religion as violant and cruel. How dare you then critize EMB? please let not your blind belief turn into absurd hyprocisy. first, I suggest you vindicate your islamic values from being associated with violence among yourselves before you scream slander.

^^and the dumb hoe speaks. The avatars carried by Somalisiszz and others aren't terrorist avatars and furthermore, they don't offend any1.

You are speaking here as if your stupid opinion matters. It doesn't and it never will. I suggest you start posting regularly at faithfreedom.org. THis is a muslim site and the opinions of fascist athesits will not be tolerated. Good bye love weji foolxun.

Lion,

I am a kaafir, for crying out loud! There are a good number of others on this forum, and I have never said otherwise.

While we are on the subject, the current state of religious affairs among Somalis is absolutely beyond me.

I saw 3 bourkas my entire time in the country. It was a class thing. The women wore them to visit each other, but never to the market. I never saw a hijab. Women covered the tops of their hair with scarves, and the ends stuck out. After they had sex with their husbands, women washed their hair and let it dry in the sun in some of the biggest afros I have ever seen. In Jilib, you could see them regularly, on main street.

I knew Somali Christians, Somali Bahais and was aware of two Christian missions, a Christian Leprosarium and a Bahai mission. My Somali friends were about half believiing and non believing. I know for a fact that none prayed five times a day and I don't believe any was all that practicing. Jilib had a small mosque and a tiny duqsi, but only a very small percentage of the population was directly involved.

At the same time, I never heard of an athiest.

The war and forty years has clearly brought about some changes. I am surprised rather than complaining, but you are not the folks I once knew.

Michael,

I am a dyed in the wool democrat, small "d". Denying a man the right to speak is against everything I believe most strongly in. I say it is equivalent.
----------------

Galol may be an abrasive SOB, but he is still a Somali and the last time I checked this was still called Somalinet, not Islamnet. I would hope that we could all agree to a set of rules that would allow him to be included.

^^I knew you weren't a muslim. so what if u are kaafir and seen somali women's hair? Good for you and the hell that's gonna devour your body.
You lived in Somalia during the 2nd Jahahiliah (Ignorance), a time when Islam too a backside to colonial powers and nationalism. It's a different world now. Get with the program.

Are you saying because you are a kaafir, you are naturally going to side with other kaafirs reglardless of whether they are wrong or right although this is a muslim site?

Galol is a kaafir. That automatically nullifies his somali-ness. Somalinimo=Islaamnimo since over 99% of Somalis are Muslim.

But i'm glad you are showing your true colors. Hiding under the guise of "living" in Somalia this whole time....The somalia u lived in is DEAD .

SHIRK ALERT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lioness just said somalinimo and Allah (Islam IS Allah) are equal Laughing Laughing

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Spoken like true blood lusting muslim vampire, keep it up faggot.

I contend that ISLAM itself is insult and threat to humanity. Specially to pagans, polytheist and atheists. So, I'd like all Islamic references to be banned or censored. In that way we'll for once and all end this tit-for-tat game. You muslims threaten us with 'kill them where ever you find, slay them, smite their FINGERTIPS' or 'nonbelievers are deaf, blind and dumb (by Allah in the Quran!!!!!!!!!). And we fight back by denying and yes sometimes using harsh language.

I find those verses insulting and hurtful to my feelings. When you guys get rid of them, I don't care how, no one certainly not me will be insulting you or your religion.

Until such day the name of the game is reciprocity.
