This thread is only to praise the Prophet(sws)
O Pillar relied upon and protection in which refuge is sought
And saving resort, and neighbour close at hand
O you whom the God has chosen for His creatures
By planting in him perfection and purity of character
You are the Prophet! You are the best of the human nations.

Root and branch of the rose is
The lovely sweat of Mustafa,
And by his power the rose’s crescent
Grows now into a full moon---Jalal al-din al Rumi
Like the sun, it is seen by the eye from afar, very small yet
Hurts the eye when you stare at it.
How can people understand the reality of this man in this world,
When they are people immersed in their dreams
Preoccupied in their fantasies?---Qasida al Burda, Imam al Busiri
How should not men, angels and jinn praise him
Since Allah the Most High Himself has praised him?
The theologians and poets throughout the ages unanimously concluded that it is next to impossible to do justice to describe these qualities of the Messenger of Allah.
The Spanish author Lisan uddin al-Khatib:
‘The verses of the Holy book praised you.
How could the poem of my eulogy possibly praise your greatness?’
The great Imam al Busiri:
‘it is not that the true miracle of the Prophet,(sws) that the tongues are incapable of describing him?’
We are constantly reminded that true faith is achieved only by loving the Messenger of Allah (sws) yet have we really understood and grasped this reality?
This is how the earlier generation of Muslims reacted:
Ja’far al-Sadiq, would turn pale whenever he heard the Prophet mentioned.
Imam Malik would not mention a hadith except in state of ritual purity.
Abd al-Rahman ibn ‘..’ ibn Abu Bakr al-Siddiq would turn red and stammer whenever he heard the Prophet mentioned.
Amir ibn Abd Allah… would weep until his eyes had no tears left in them
When hadiths was mentioned in their presence they would lower their voices.
Malik said: ‘His sacredness in death is as his inviolability in life’
‘…Upon him be the purest of endless blessings without cease together with greetings that cannot be stemmed nor counted, And upon his family and companions, a glorious folk all, the oceans of forgiveness, the people of generosity and aid!’—Khalifah ‘Abd al Hamid khan 1777
