A Question To SomaliSizz

Postby avowedly-agnostic » Sat May 06, 2006 3:52 am

This is a sincere question to SomaliSizz and other Wahhabis, could you kindly clarify for myself and others regarding the following rather peculiar and unorthodox beliefs and doctrines of yours:

1) Why do Wahhabis say that men who wear trousers that extend below the ankle will burn in hell?
2) Why do Wahhabis teach that taking photographs of close family and friends will result in a severe punishment from Allah?

Would you not agree that such beliefs (which by the way are not supported by the Quran) are somewhat extreme? Is it not the case that the immense majority of Muslims frequently take photographs of their close family and friends? Is it also not the case that all Muslim men with the exception of Wahhabis wear trousers that extend below their ankle? Do you then mean to say that all such Muslims who have in the past taken photographs or worn long trousers are burning in the pits of hell?

Finally, What (in your opinion) is so wrong or grotesque with the aforementioned trivial acts that would cause Allah to grow so incensed and so infuriated as to visit upon such people the most painful and severe punishment?

Thank you

[quote SomaliSizz] I would answer you But your Question's are based on Assumptions [/quote]

Do you deny that Salafis (also known as Wahhabis) hold the acts of taking family photographs , and wearing ankle length trousers to be haraam ? Do you mean to say that you no longer think of those acts as haraam, but permissable in Islam?

Please explain to me which of my statements is based on "assumption".

tell me somthing are you a muslim ? and if I tell you what the Quran and Sunnah says regard these things will you say 'I hear and Obey or will' or will you debate even after prof from Quran and Sunnah as some munafiqs dose ?

some issues The scholars differ, some as the beard all the scholar [early salf as-salaaix] and four imam agreed upon that is xaram to shave beard! it is something that was Practiced by Allah prophets salwat Allah w salam be upon them!

Do you follow any one of the four imams[madhabs] shafici, xambali, maliki, xanifi? if you do I might get your their Opion regrd the issue you are intersted in..

I would only talk regards these things if you are not playing around and wasting my voluble time and you are being sincere and I won’t accept scholars like Shaykh al-Islam Muhammad ibn ‘Abd al-Wahhaab [Raxmimahullah] being bashed and disrespected in Islam we don’t bash dead muslims munaafiqs do ..

I would appreciate if you are Muslim if we leave sarcasm, insults and arrogance aside under these condtions I don’t mind talking about islam..

lets keep in mind some scholars might have diffred regard same thing but they always stood side by side they all have done ijtihad according to the knowledge they had and Allah has blessed them with.. [I am not talking about innovators] I am talking about acknowledge scholars !

Also note, that if they were correct Allah will grant them 2 xasanaats and if they were wrong Allah will grant them one Xasant.. But this rule applies to Ahlul cilm not people like you and me.. Knowing that we might differ but we do not insult each others and we still pray in the same masjed call each others brothers and sister..

Insha*Allah If more knew that we would not have as much problems among us Muslims..

I've absolutely no intention of satirising your beliefs, nor have I insulted anyone (in fact it is you who referred to me as being influenced by the devil),
neither have I displayed arrogance toward anyone, I only seek to understand why it is your beliefs are so extreme and out of touch with main stream Islam.

Can you please respond to my previous questions which are as follows::

1) Why do Wahhabis say that men who wear trousers that extend below the ankle will burn in hell?
2) Why do Wahhabis teach that taking photographs of close family and friends will result in a severe punishment from Allah?

Would you not agree that such beliefs (which by the way are not supported by the Quran) are somewhat extreme?
