Warlords fleeing or surrendering en masse!!!

Postby dhuusa_deer » Mon Jun 05, 2006 11:52 am

Just heard Yalaxow and some other bigwig warlord have given themselves to Muslim courts in Mugadisho. Gratefully may I add so as further bloodshed can now be avoided. Qanyire jetted off to Djibouti.

Do you think this is watershid moment in Somalia's protracted Civil War?

I was planning a massive take back of Somalia by 2010 -but I think the Shiekhs are doing that job -so I have to focus my energy on other things.

the season of warlords is over --lets welcome the sheikhs

Coolman,

Of course I keep abreast of recent development back home... what did u take me for? Keep one ear finely tuned to local developments at all times... above all else got investments and other vested interests to keep me concerned.

This just in:

Islamic courts in conjection with former militia of surrendered warlords have given Mohamed Dheere and cohorts who're holding out in Jowhar till midnight local time.

Events unraveling rapidly... stay tuned.
