Reality TV programme

Postby Lord Diplock » Thu Jun 08, 2006 3:23 pm

What do u make of these cr*p tv programmes that seems to have become a main stay in our tv shedule?

'Big Brother', a sh*thouse show is on air now in England for the 7th season in a row (or 6?). It is a tasteless show. A bunch of weirdos, attention-seeking losers doing fu*k all in a house somewhere in Essex (East of London).

I am sick to the back teeth of this show and others of the same ilk and I thought it was a fad that will fade away after chavs got bored of it, infact, it seems chavs and loads of viewers cannot get enough of it and just like cricket in june, BB is there as always.

Do u like 'reality' TV programmes? if so, what is captivating about watching a bunch of nonentities doing nothing interesting or is there something else I am missing here?

Thank goodness, the World Cup starts tomorrow Very Happy Smile Razz

Big Brother never appealed to me. I used to watch Fear Factor, but discontinued because I couldn't stomach stuff they do there. The lengths they go for some $50K, like munching and swallowing tixri & gooryaan; disgusting!

Arabo,

Seen that show several episodes and you are right, no one can stomach what they eat. Pile, Pig's tongue, coagulated blood, congealed mucus and rotten eggs, to name a few.

I think Survivor is one of the best reality tv programs, at least, there are conspiracies, tactics and eventually a hefty one million check reward
