cursing...inkaar allah....

Postby biko » Wed Jun 14, 2006 7:05 am

cursing is normal for somali elders and most of the time it is said out of anger. but never in my entire life did i come accross someone who actualy use the quran and prayers to curse someone. untill recently that is.

this arab muslim guy recently told me that for over few months he has been cursing certain people who rubed him the wrong way. he even went as far as to say there are especial prayers and certain verses from the quran which you can use to curse someone. he specifically mention friday afternoon been the best time for such ceremony.

so my question is; can you use the quran for such evil purposes?

and have you ever heard of people using the quran to curse. cos this is a first for me.

i have this strong urge to beat the grany out of this guy.

You can not use the Qur'an for evil purposes. The Qur'an says "Wa nunazilu minal Qur'ani maa huwa shifaa'un wa raxmatun lil mu'mineena" Ask someone who is fluent in Arabic to translate that, I don't wanna misqoute, but the two key words here are "Shifaa" and "Raxma"

So tell that midgaan to go to hell. Maybe he is amgician who can cast a spell on someone.
