they don't mean what you think ... LOL

I fingered (fill the blank) means I tried to get more info on (fill the blank)

Whoever cameup with that name for this unix command had something sinister in mind @ the time....

touch is more generic unless it is used with finger Smile

I have come across some weird ones too like..Footprint, Bootstrap , thrash, thumb... Laughing
