the biggest mistake they have done was the seperate the Islamic council into two- one led by Sharif Ahmed and the other Dahir aweys... this was the wrongest ever.. they should never appointed Dahir Aweys as he is a pure terorrist!!...
if the Islamic courts have been kept under one council let by Sharif Ahmed, the world would have considered their position in the somali politics but as they have appointed a terorrist called Dahir Aweys, the whole world went against the Islamic courts and even refused to consider them as a power..... my country-America, for instance, refused to deal with any board Dahir Aweys is a member of!!!.. America has approved the existance of the Somali government led by Yusuf and Gedi, and its about time America recognizes our government!!!
Islamic Militia didnot estimate the scale of international problems they would face if they appoint Dahir Aweys and I would say my Allah be with them if they want this to succeed... the special envoy to Africa has prieved the American council last week and her priefing was one ugly presentation in favor of Abdullahi Yusuf and against Islamic Courts.... she said, if the Islamic Courts hand in the Arab fighters plus Dahir Aweys to be tried fairly for what they have done to undermine peace and prosperity for all humanity, the Islamic courts will get recognition....
so i would say, hand in these assses to America.. they wont do us no good.
