Yet another daft thread by a man getting dafter by the day.

Anyway mine is Edna Adan Ismail Dhakhtar: Afterall how many Somali woman could muster her extraordinary biography:

One of few Christians in an almost uniformly boringly orthodox Muslim place; one of the first fully qualified Nurses in somalia; One of the most prominent feminist workers in Somalia; First lady of the first Prime Minister Of the First Independent somali Nation ever in history; First lady(after friendly parting from the PM) of one of the most swasbuckingly heroic milatary figures in somalia - the Sandhurst-trained hassan Keyd; the first female Minister of any Somali governement; the first Somali woman to fly an airplane solo(circa 61) and the first woman ever in Africa to single handedly(almost) build a hospital from her own pocket and from the pockets of her friends while serving as a Minister of foreign Affairs for an unrecognised country. Or for that matter a recognised one.

Nabs and Lug

Siyad would feature in my 20 first to meet before God. BTW did you notice that none of you said Muhammed or God?

BTW my second would be Ali sugulle and my third Cabdi Muxumed Amin.

And then the Wright Brothers.

CIGAAL SHIDAAAL, so that I can ask about his philosophies on bravery.
I think it could be facinating to hear from him and could learn a thing or two about how to be brave.

you heard the somali saying '' fuley hooyadii ma goblanto'.

Nice one actually. Cigaal Shidad was a great Somali wit. I love his famous story of Waddo Halaq(" Black Mamba's road).
