"go back to your elders and take few lessons before you join..."
Sxb how about if i tell i was there..No, but fiiri no one is denying dat their (Dhulbahante) were his soldier and reer abtiyaashiis...but i was mentioning despite their loyalty to him he saw them just as soldiers and nothing else. I dont know but their is a Gabay in which he talks about all the Somali qabiilyasha and somebody asked him about Dhulbahante and Sayidka responds by saying dat "DAD BAAN KA HADLEENAY". So sxb maybe u need to go back to your unbaised elders and ask about this.
Dhulbahaante always have a good soldeir (follower) and to this day they are (Guarding Pu$$yland from Isaaqs).[/quote]

Brother, Young Activist, I know history, But if you have history and poems bring them to the table. Dont come in here with some non-existent bullshit.
I get the feeling that you are feeling left out because your family had no part in this great struggle
Young Gun,
Darwiish Army was in norhthern Mudug. It is Cumar Maxamuud land but Darwiishes could go anywhere in Somalia and settle as long as there was no European or Organized local goverment stopping them, e.g. Boqor Cismaan or Suldaan Cali Yuusuf.
the biggest cumar Maxamuud contingent in the Darwiish movement were the Reer Khalaf, Abshir dhoore family. But like Cali Dhuux and many other Darwiishes, large numbers of them deserted the movement after the Sayid was condemned by his Sudanese mentor Maxamed Saalix.
