Like I said keep blindly defending Siad Barre because of clan loyalty, as long as people like you exist, nationlism will play second hand to clan loyalty. Now you are saying the Isaaqs killed themselves so Isaaqs would start rebelling. I don't have much more to say to you if you believe that. Keep denying the wrong doings of Siad Barre. There would be no need for rebel militias if Siad Barre was just, do you deny this too?

Demure

looool@ lax. I didnt know you knew them. Is Cawar's uncharacteristic seriousness winding you so much you are remembering all your Somali swear words in one go?

Anyway this ant-cowism is a western Kufr culture. In somali being called sac means you ghave great eyes, sirloin, rump and huge haddii rabbi xugmayo. But you dont want it fine.

This is why I don't like to bring up the deaad , cause it divides the living.

To say Siad Barre didn't have a good side is like saying he didn't have a bad side. Both sides existed.

Siad Barre was perhaps something like Saddam Hussein, he wasn't necessarily a qabiilist, but this is Somalia and when push comes to shove and you get a little paranoid you will go to whoever is loyal.

There were bad guys in every camp & only Allah can ultimately sort out their intentions............

I was talking to a non-Darood guy the other day who worked in the Madaxtooyada w/ Siad Barre on a daily basis, he was telling me how some people from SB's tribe would demand he write a letter demanding sugar or rice or something from warehouses.....and when he would refuse they would threaten him.....that is corruption and it happened.........I can't defend a corrupt guy because he's from my tribe.

As the President, he took the rap for those actions and I guess that's what a leader is forced to do, just like how Aideed took the rap for every Mooryaan act in Xamar post-91..............

I also heard from a Reer Waqooyi minister who was in SB's HQ at the time the Jaziira massacre happened.........he said that M Siad Barre didn't even get to the bathroom before he started throwing up..............As a leader I guess you can say he's responsible, but he ddin't condone it in any way.

My mom knew one of the people who was allegedly behind it (Jaziira) and he did it in M Siad Barre's name without his knowledge...........eventually he was killed himself when Xamar fell............so I guess you can say it all evens out eventually............he got what was coming to him for people.

Eventually, this is what the Day of Judgement is for...........our views & perceptions are inherently biased and we can't judge completely objectively.............Rest assured that on the Day Of Judgement the person would rather be on the receiving end of the oppression than on the giving end of oppression:

Reflect on this Hadith:

"An unbeliever is brought forward on the Day of Judgment and he is given a quick dip into the fire, then he is asked: 'Did you ever experience anything good or any luxury in your life?' He will answer: 'By Your greatness, my Lord, I never did.' And the person who endured the most miserable life on earth is brought forward and he is given a quick taste of heaven. He is then asked: 'Did you ever experience any misfortune or misery?' He will answer: 'By Your greatness, my Lord, I never did.'"

Round 1 (Buur Hakaba) goes to the TFG

Round 2 (Buaale) goes the ICU

Ladies and Gentleman, the two fighters are giving each other a run for their money. ICU in the red trunks and red turban looks in peak shape and has been landing 80% of his shots. TFG in the green trunks is ducking and moving sleekly.

This bout has been brought to you by Shabelle News in cooperation with Xormuud Telecom.
