The Arab foreign policy is nonsense.........it has no consistency.

first they arm/fund Saddam to fight Iran b/c the Ayatollah was a Spooky Boogeyman. I don't think Iran was a threat to them.

then, they support Saddam's removal after he did their dirty work, only to have Iran to re-emerge as the victor in the bloodbath.

The problem with a monarchy........intelligence is not inherited.

The problem is MAC .
You broke it , you have to fix it.

Iraq before the invasion was in bad shape but was working.
Now Iraq does not exist, and i have more confidense in a United Democratic Somalia in the next 10 years, than a working Iraq.

some people are just dumb and they repeat whatever they hear on the news

How are the sunnis minority?

Iraq is composed of 3 communities(Sunni Arabs, Kurds(sunni in religion), Shiica Arabs), roughly the same size.

At most, The Shiica have a plurality.

If it comes to a fight Sunnis will give as good as they get. Neither Shiica nor Sunni will be able to impose his will on Iraq and the country will be dismembered. Unless the Americans set a date for a pullout, appoint a Sunni Dictator(preferably Saddam Himself, after they apologized to him profusely of course) and then get the hell out of Dodge.

Mad Mac,

Americas are big pussies. Once again a few outgunned no-hopers kill a few of you guys and you turn tail.

It was so disgraceful seeing Americans crying over all the dead in Iraq and take their anger and frustration on the republicans.

Meanwhile Iraqis are killing your boys left, right and centre. You sit here on Somalinet chatting up fat Somali single moms waiting for their taxi driver boyfriends. YOu should be in Iraq putting a hurt on those terrorists that kill your buddies, not to mention the 3000 innocent WTC victims.

What about those fat pigs with the big dresses the Saudis? They killed your people and yet they are financing more terror and mayhem all over the world?

And what do u guys do?

You run away.

Americans = Pure Yellow

So you want the US Army to stay in Iraq or not? A simple yes or no will do.

The Marehan Kid

"first they arm/fund Saddam to fight Iran b/c the Ayatollah was a Spooky Boogeyman. I don't think Iran was a threat to them.

then, they support Saddam's removal after he did their dirty work, only to have Iran to re-emerge as the victor in the bloodbath."

It's not so easy. The official policy of the government of Iran is to export the revolution. There are large Shi'ite populations in Arabia. So, the concern is not illegitimatte.

We love our soldiers. When each one loses a life we grieve for them. It is altogether appropriate that we do so.

We have not cut and run from Iraq yet. But there is frustration that the Iraqis seem ungovernable unless you brutalize them.
