The Ethiopian puppet regime in Baidoa got a slap in the face from those who pay their bills.
It took only five minutes for the UN security council to brush aside the TFG beggers and adopt a resolution opposite of their request.

Wednesday's resolution condemned "the significant increase in the flow of weapons and ammunition supplies to and through Somalia, which constitutes a violation of the arms embargo and a serious threat to peace and stability in Somalia."

The council also reiterated "its insistence that all member states, in particular those in the region(some one to translate this into Tigrinya), should refrain from any action in contravention of the arms embargo and should take all necessary steps to hold violators accountable."

that resolution was to tighten the arms embargo and to make sure no countries violate it like iran, eritrea, and others have been doin by givin arms to the icu.

but the united states draft resolution was not denied, because it is not even up for adoption yet. the u.s is expected to turn in a resolution soon that calls for peace-keepers to somalia that are EXEMPT from the embargo. the draft resolution already has support from russia and china. the regular embargo is not goin to be lifted but tightened so the icu has no weapons comin in but soon it will be eased for the american-backed peace-keepers to come in.


its a win-win situation for the dawlad, cuz if it was lifted, then the icu would also be free to import weapons. that will not be the case now cuz it is unlikely they will be able to get even an ak47 now while fully armed and embargo-unaffected jareer and habash soldiers are comin to bomb them from their hideouts
