I think the Canadians played it safe and want to wrest the control of government and this time opted on the question of the environment. Is the environment a topic of increasing importance to Canadians? Will it deliver them government?

Can you guess what is happening in Australia in Two hours time, at 9.00 a.m on this gloriuos Monday morning? People here are more interested in their hip-pockets, "Interest Rates"

When I have early Breakfast, I always have 4 blocks of cereal, with lots of milk and strawberries chopped in it and a glass of orange. Like you, I used to eat with bananas , since they are so expensive lately, due a cyclone that devastated the banana farms here and the government refused to import bananas so as to protect their electorate, I switched to strawberries. Dont cme to Australia now. Bananas are so expensive.

Dion is a tough guy. Ignattief is the tool of the Jews. This guy never lived in Canada for 30 years and they parachuted him in last year with the purpose of launching his leadership of the Liberal party and eventual PM position.

The Liberals are a very progressive party and they smelled jew neo-conservative stench from this guy and rejected him

Our equivalent to the Canadian Liberals are called here the Labour Party, and this morning the party leader is challenged and would definately loose. The reason? You got it, the new guy, Kevin Rudd has a better chance beating the neo-con prime minister Howard.

I love Australian politics and its no prisosers taken attitude. Ever since I read a million years ago an Economist article on Paul Keating. He used to call some of his opponents things like "A perfumed scumbag" loooool . In parliament too.

And I recently read a newspaper article about the departing labour leader who must have been a match for keating in the colourful language department.

I cant remember his name but he called John Howard an "arse licker who went to the united states and lickes some American arses and got patted on the back"

What a bunch of loonies these aussies.

I recently finished Bill Bryson's book travel book about Australia. What a country. A country where a sitting PM was taken by the tides and forever lost to the Sea. And where a fomer finance Minister sits on the beach selling his autobiography on a cardboard stand
