Sheikh shariif ilaahay ha janeeyo for his efforts to unite Somalia..He has truly made history as Aasho Yusuf bends over for Zenawi.

Now that i got that off my chest.

Gen. Aideed is the most famous Somali man..even the americans have written books and made films about him and his victories!
So he is the most famous..

Even somaliman remembers him when he was little and Aided renamed Galkacyo to Qabri Majeerteen ..

In that case, Siyaad Mohammed Abdullae Hassan(Mad Mullah) is the most Famous Somali person throughout History, Books, documentaries and a film has been done about him. Not bad for a person that lived 100 years ago.
Oh yeah and his statue in Xamar, I dont think they would ever make one for aideed.
