I have absolutely no clue what wiif means in this context. I have always heard of Qaldaan Wiif used to refer to Northerners. Never investigated what it meant.

The word Wiif is literally the sound a thrown stone makes, and when you throw a stone, you wouldn't know where it would land. Now, Northerners came to the South with no target and no P.O. Box, they came rushing, talking fast, and gesticulating a lot and the Southerners didn't know where these ppl were heading, so they said they are Wiif
