muslim-man,

I was in the US sxb.........I have never been to Somalia.......I left in '81

Most of my memories of the Civil War were dozens of Somali families staying w/ us on their way to Canada.

We were like the Underground RAilroad
Lucky you then for missing all of the mayhem that followed. What a way to loose a country to a bunch of savages (I am not reffering to any specific clan here). All of that for what? So, that we become reduced to chatting through the net here rather than chilling at Aruba Hotel & Cafe Fiat?.

If mooryaans weren't introduced to drugs, the Civil War would have probably ended earlier than it did.

However, an armed group of crackheads will turn a nation into an inner city.

MC, never! We could be talking about needles and sewing and somehow we will find an angle to incorporate qabiil in it.

Did any of you walk to Afgooye?

muslim-man,

I'm sure all the crazy problems like the rapes & unexplained killings in masjids & stuff can be traced to the drugs.

That's exactly what happened. Within a matter of months, Mogadishu was reduced to a rat-hole. Even plumping lines & electric wires were stripped off and sent to Dubai for smelting.

Wallahi there's a scene in Blood Diamonds (the movie) where the rebel leader is drugging the kids who are fighting.
