WATCHDOG PROBES BB 'RACISTS'
20000 viewers complain

MORE than 200 Celebrity Big Brother viewers have complained to a telly watchdog about the "racist abuse" being dished out to Indian actress Shilpa Shetty.

Fellow contestants Jade Goody, Danielle Lloyd and Jo O'Meara have been accused of targeting Shilpa because of her race.

Over the weekend, former beauty queen Danielle and S Club 7 singer Jo poked fun at Shilpa's accent.

And on Sunday night, Shilpa ended up in tears after Jo refused to eat a chicken she had roasted for the group because it was undercooked and too spicy. Jo said: "I don't trust that chicken. I want to eat it but I'm scared."

Jade, Danielle and Jo have ganged up on Shilpa in recent days. And while Jade's mum Jackiey was in the house, she refused to pronounce the Bollywood star's name and referred to her as "the Indian".

A spokeswoman for broadcasting regulator Ofcom confirmed yesterday: "We have had approximately 20000 complaints of racism.

I think the other girls were more racist than Jade. She is just easily led, has little intellect and a big mouth. Poor girl destroyed everything for herself. Apparently shops have even pulled her perfume off their shelves.

The media hype and the political dimension to it all was quite funny.

Shes been evicted. Its the Friday eviction.

Apparently, there was no usual crowd. They were scared for thier safety.

She said something like, the first time she went in, she had nothing to loose..this time shes freaking out and never been so scared because she doesnt want to go back to her old life.
