Being daarood doesn't qualify me as an expert on hawiye-daarood relations, but visiting Mogadishu for the first time in 16 years was a frightening experience for me & my older brother. We thought we stood out like two trees, I was surprised to learn that other daarood families were back in the city (mostly mareexaan & ogaadeen).

I am grateful to Allah & the ICU qaadi (Sh. Abdiraxmaan Weheliye) who returned to us our two properties in Shiirkole.

Anyone who wants to lie about the good the ICU have done, Allah will hold them accountable.

There is no lie Bro. It’s my observation and the way the whole world saw it. You have a children and woman abusing, cowardly thugs capturing Mogadishu and announce hargeisa; Addis Ababa, Nairobi and Djibouti are next. Did they bring peace or try to use Mogadishu as a spring board for their perverted versions of Islam. Perhaps as an agent of foreign power, they forgot to include London, Washington and Sydney.

Indeed bro koronto, Allah will hold people accountable for their deeds. As people who had to deal with daily bad news from Muqdisho, we wholeheartedly welcomed Muqdisho's change for the better under the ICU leadership. It was unquestionably God given break from a bleak existence, infamy, disbelief and above all profound inhumanity. All the good changes have been taken away now by MEN WHO themselves are pawns in a deadly game they don't grasp its implications. Their supporters are as blind.

Thanks for the warm welcome bro, I visited this site many times, but could never participate until now. Anyway, Somalis are mostly ignorant people, the ICU was a refreshing breeze, but they failed to take advantage of it, instead they've put their trust in warlords & enemies, we shall see how long the TFG drama lingers.
