I read a little about the Italian colonisation. So your family moved south because of it? What was in the south that made life better? I'm just curious my grand parents on my dad side moved to Venezuela from Portugal because they were a successful business family and saw an opportunity on the south American continent.

Well Biko it is true that we { unless you were born after77} were born " citoyen de la Republique Francaise", and that our forefathers were taught { in the colonial education system}that we descended from the Gauls , but that's about it as far as I am concerned.
My uncle though{ mum's brother} married a white French lady . His oldest son { already half dhullo /half white} married anothet white woman. The kids look as white as one can be , and yet they have somali names, wallahi Laughing

I had a good friend from Djibouti. He had a sister that was tha shit!!!!!. I so wanted to tap that a$$ but because I had respect for that kat ...I didn't. I mean that chick flirted with me everytime I went over to his parents house...damn.
