Kizza Harajah

(SomaliNet) Liberia's new President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf has sacked all her finance ministry over corruption.

"This ministry has embarrassed our country a lot with the international community because of the corrupt practices that have been taking place here. Those who are are part of financial malpractices and scandals must give way for those who are prepared to do the will of the Liberian people, Sirleaf said.

The sacked are not pleased with the government move.Government owes us months of arrears, we have family to feed, and how are we going to manage it? This is not the way to take decisions," said Robert Bryant.
