(SomaliNet) According to police in South Africa, the bus was travelling from the Eastern Cape to Cape Town and had 50 people on board.

According to Reuters, the dead included six females, four males and one child. Five others are in critical condition.

In another incident in South Africa, 12 people were hurt when a bus collided with a taxi.

South Africa has some of the most life threatening roads in the world. About 10,000 people are killed in road accidents in South Africa per annum.
