LIBERIA: NIGERIAN PRESIDENT MEETS TAYLOR February 28, 2006

(SomaliNet) One week before Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo visits Liberia, he has held a meeting with exiled ex-Liberian president, Charles Taylor.
Taylor has been an exilee in Nigeria from 2003. The former Liberian president is needed for war crimes he committed agains the people of Siera Leone and Liberia.
Liberian President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf is under foreign pressure to ensure that Taylor is convicted before the UN Court in Sierra Leone. It is said that many people lost their lives and property during the 14 year civil war propagated by Liberia's Taylor.
