ETHIOPIA: EXPECTS MORE TEACHERS FROM NIGERIA March 9, 2006

(SomaliNet) Ethiopia is to receive more university teachers from Nigeria This follows Nigeria's President, Olusegun Obasanjo's acception of a request from Ethiopia under Nigeria's Technical Aid Corp (TAC).
Obasanjo pledged the donation in a speech with outgoing Ethiopian Ambassador to Nigeria, Yohannes Guinda-Ginbi, at Nigeria's state house.
INigeria is also to give Ethiopia cassava experts as a way of dealing with the famine in Ethiopia.
31 teachers from Nigeria are already teaching in Ethiopia under TAC. However, there is still gap due to creation of new univerities in Ethiopia.
