(SomaliNet) US president, George Bush said that the Palestian elections results should open the eyes of the Palestian government. "The election should open the eyes of the old guard in the palestinian territories," he said at the White House. To him, peace is still possible in the Middle East.
About the Hamas, a militant group, he said:"If you're platform is the destruction of Israel, you're not a partner in peace.The U.S. does not support parties that want to support our ally Israel."
Hamas is known for carrying out militant attacks on Israel in the name of defending islam. It calls for the entire destruction of the Israel state.
