U.S: ELECT PRESIDENT OBAMA TO MEET RUSSIAN PRESIDENT November 10, 2008
(SomaliNet) United States President-elect Barack Obama and Russian President Dmitry Medvedev have agreed to meet soon, a source has said.
The two will probably see each other next week in Washington at the G20 summit on the credit crisis. The Kremlin has said President Medvedev has congratulated Mr Obama on his election victory.
Earlier, Barack Obama spoke to Polish President Lech Kaczynski. Warsaw says that Mr Obama told them he intends to go through with the construction of a US missile shield in Poland. A spokesperson for Mr Obama denies this.-RNW
