IRAQ: THREE EXPLOSIONS KILL 28, INJURES 68 OTHERS IN BAGHDAD November 11, 2008

(SomaliNet) According to reports, three explosions in the Iraqi capital Baghdad have killed 28 people and injured 68 others.

After two car bombs in the Sunni district of Kasra exploded simultaneously, a suicide bomber blew himself up in the middle of the bystanders who rushed to help the victims. The blasts also killed many people sitting in nearby cafes. It was one of the worst attacks in Iraq for several months.

Further north, in the Iraqi city of Baquba, a 13-year-old female suicide bomber blew herself up at a police station. Four people were killed and 18 injured.-RNW
