Libya: Two security guards killed as gunmen fire shots at South Korean embassy in Tripoli

Two local security guards have been killed after unidentified gunmen fired shots at the South Korean embassy in Libyan capital, Tripoli on Sunday, Reuters quoted Xinhua and Yonhap news agencies reports.

According to press reports, the gunmen fired from a car at the embassy compound, killing two people and wounding another.None of the casualties were South Korean, South Korea's Yonhap news agency, citing a government official in Seoul, said.

Reuters says South Korean foreign ministry officials were not immediately available for comment, and the South Korean embassy in Tripoli could not be contacted (Source: Agencies)
