He is expected to be accompanied by National Resistance Movement historical and members  of the youth leagues during his entourage to party's Electoral Commission (EC) head office on Plot 10 Kyadondo road today. According to The EC chairman, Dr. Tanga Odoi, all those who wish to vie for various  positions must pick the forms today. Incidentally, Museveni’s former ally and ousted premier Amama Mbabazi is also expected to pick the forms today.

Dr Tanga added that Amama Mbabazi had not yet indicated the time for picking the forms. To avoid any clashes at the venue, he said priority would be given to Museveni who has already indicated his schedule. "If Amama Mbabazi chooses to come earlier, then he will have to leave earlier or come after  President Museveni but I will not allow them to clash here," he said.

Youth Minister, Evelyn Anite who is well-known for her ' Museveni sole candidature' move  by the NRM parliamentary caucus picked her forms and said her heart was “thumping, praying that no one else picks forms to allow President Museveni go through unopposed”.
