The French customs have seized 2.25 tons of cocain worth over US $105 million aboard a sailboat that was falsely flying an American flag in the Caribbean.
CNN reported Sunday morning that a French director of customs operations in Martinique, Michael Lachaux, said this was the biggest cocaine seizure ever carried out by French authorities.

Lachaux reportedly said in an interview with the radio station France Info on Saturday that officers arrested one Venezuelan and two Spanish citizens who were on board the vessel off the coast of Martinique on Wednesday.
